Online experience is a class that you learn techniques, styles, and proper behavior when on computers. You must take this class because it is a graduation requirement. For example, if a senior moved here, she would have to take this class to graduate. This happened to my best friend Cheyanne McCartney, good thing she had such a cool kid like me to be her only friend.
What Did We Learn?
I learned proper etiquette when on the computer. For instance, always think of the repercussions of your post before you put it out for the whole world to see.
My Favorite Project
It was definitely the project on Google Docs with texting and driving because I worked with Cheyanne McCartney. It also helped me learn new ideas that I will use for my future projects. I also liked the weebly project because we had a lot of freedom on what we wanted to create.
Why You Need Online Experience A and B
First of all you need this class to graduate high school. You also need it for all sorts of reasons. It helps improve computer skills as well as your English, math, researching, and presenting skills. You get to learn how to use all the programs on your computer like, Excel, Movie Maker, Audacity, Word and a lot more. I liked Movie Maker because it was easier and faster than PowerPoint. You learn about helpful websites like Delicious, Picnik, Flickr, Blogger, Wiki, Weebly, and more. My favorite was Delicious because I always forget the names of websites and I can always save them there and, they will always be there. All the projects you do help you learn to be independent or work with others with out seeing them in person. You learn how to be safe on the internet and not give out personal information.
Favorite Project
My favorite project was creating a Weebly. I liked it because I can use it in the future when I apply for a job or college. It was easy to do because it was all about you. It gets you to start thinking about your future when you have to pick a job and find a college you want to attend.
